Fantastische Erfahrung: Dear Alina We were very happy with your service and the booking experience. All our requests were arranged and we had a super holiday at Lux Maldives. Although we’ve stayed at bigger/more beautiful water villas during previous visits, Lux offers many experiences and the size of the Island is great. We used the bicycles to get around, which was great fun. The Spa is amazing and we used the sauna and steam room every day, as it was raining heavily during our one week stay. The overall service and friendliness of the staff was super. The food was good, with many different options/restaurants to choose from. Snorkeling was disappointing, as the coral is stressed. The resort is doing its best to replant, and we joined this experience which was very educational. Thank you for arranging this holiday

Firstly, this was our first time to the Maldives so we found the number of resort options overwhelming. Fantastische Erfahrung: JAN2024 - Family of 4, two resorts, 10 nights Definitely trustworthy and friendly. Alina and her team where absolutely great in all steps of the journey. 1. Planning - email, Whatsapp and phone calls were used/possible to plan the stay. We exchanged several options and cross-checked recommendations. We stayed 10 nights, 2 resorts distant from each other. 2. Payment - takes place 30 days prior to arrival. We did wired transfer (must admit were were reluctant at first, but all went fantastic!) 3. Travel - all was thought and arranged. Alina sent us all links and info for us to travel with all things settled (IMUGA, transfers in Malé, etc). 4. Specials - Alina also requested, on our behalf, the most suitable locations (or the ones we'd prefer), arranged for Birthday surprise and even for late check-out on the day we left. 5 Stars. Fantastische Erfahrung: I just want to start by saying thank you to Alina from Unique Getaways for helping me book our honeymoon in the Maldives! At first I was hesitant to book through an independent travel agency verses the resort itself, but I am so glad we did. Alina was able to get us the best rate (better than going through the resort directly), as well as she took into account our budget. She gave us options of other resorts too with similar budgets. Alina answered any questions that I had, at any time of the day in a quick response! (Even with her time change haha). She gave us all the information on which travel documents we needed to do, as well as took our flight information to coordinate it with the resort for transfers. Definitely took a lot of the stress away! I would deffinitly recommend using Alina from Unique getaways and if we ever come back to the Maldives (I hope so) we will 100% be going through her again!!

I was trying to book the trip myself but then I found Alina who managed to get much better prices than I found on online sites or direct from the resorts. She is very knowledgeable about the Maldives although in the end we went to Moofushi where we have been before. I never booked through a travel agent before and honestly I was skeptical at first, because some things are just too good to be true sometimes. I decided to trust Alina because of her professionalism and her amazing google reviews. We had been looking for resorts in the Maldives and Alina was extremely helpful finding us an island with all the preferences we wanted (good snorkeling, south Ari, etc)! I stumbled across Alina from Unique Getaways, and she quoted a few resorts we had narrowed it down to in Maldives, plus offered two additional options. Typically I don't use travel agents, but the Maldives is it's own 'ballgame' and the choices are beyond overwhelming even for this research queen! UG's prices were the most competitive of the agents we spoke with as well. Even more impressive is her patience and responsiveness. We are in the US and she was in Germany and yet, she corresponded quickly with me in my time zone without hesitation. She was endlessly patient with my switching gears, and quoted and requoted a particular resort till we could figure out how to get it within our budget; which also kept changing. Even from afar, she was quick to make me comfortable and profess that I was not any trouble and that was "what I am here for". I too was hesitant to deal with someone from another country for my travels and for a trip this expensive, but I found her website, google reviews, and recommendations on Trip Advisor that put my concerns at ease. It seems quite common that European agents know the Maldives much better than US agents. Note: I also quote a few well known agents highly recommended on Trip Advisor and UQ was STILL the best price point. Don't hesitate to give her the opportunity to quote your trip!

Fantastische Erfahrung: I found Unique Getaways team very hardworking and they had arranged everything in coordination with the resort. They had someone to meet us at the airport as well. We had taken an all inclusive package and found the experience seamless and service delivery- tours,transfers, food & beverages etc as detailed with us. They even followed up with us on our COVID testing for our return and return logistics . Exceptional efforts taken including working on sundays by Alina and team.

Fantastische Erfahrung: Amazing amazing amazing experience dealing with unique getaways. Even when I was going to cancel the whole trip because of covid restrictions they were still very supportive. Alina takes care of every detail and shares so many different hotel options and provides a full package journey. Even though never met face to face this was a safe and secure transaction and definitely got my moneys worth. The hotel details and transportation all made easy. She was very responsive on emails and was then happy to move over to WhatsApp to improve communication time. Her pricing packages was more competitive than the hotel and other travel operators. Fantastische Erfahrung: Alina enabled the most fabulous, impulsive trip! We made a very last minute decision to go to the Maldives. The idea was to relax, dive, snorkel and just get out of Bombay. But aside from that I also needed a hotel with a house reef, one that would be accessible by sea plane, a water villa and all of this within a set budget... Alina got us a fabulous deal literally overnight at the gorgeous Dusit Thani... and we could not find anyone else who could even match the package! The resort was gorgeous and fulfilled all our expectations and more! The most gorgeous snorkelling excursions, one of the best house reefs and a grand water villa awaited us! Being in India, the only so called issue we faced was the bank transfer which either takes 24hrs or requires a 4.5% fee... but Alina was very patient through it all as we figured it... Thank you so much Alina... highly recommend! Will be booking all future Maldives trips with you!
