Fantastisches Erlebnis: Julian helped our family of five plan a vacation, including how to arrive to the port destination and back. As this was our first cruise experience, he was very thorough, patient, and provided multiple options for us to choose from. I could not have wished for a better, stress-free experience.

Negative Erfahrung: TLDR: Hard to reach customer service and your purchase price is not final until an agent decides to complete your booking (if prices change you are expected to pay for their delay). For these reasons I will never book with ABC Travel again. I have spent the last 10 years booking through ABC Travel for flights almost exclusively. They are normally my number 1 choice if I am planning to fly internationally. I mainly take advantage of their military discount. However, ABC Travel has some problems. Most recently I tried to book a flight. I confirmed my booking on April 1st. I then get an email saying the price had increased by 40 Euro that same day after my booking was confirmed. ABC Travel's customer service line is also impossible to use. It is only open during the day and they do not have an incoming call manager. So if there is no agent able to take you're call, you are immediately disconnected leaving you no option to wait in a queue, if you want to speak to customer service you can send an email or visit one of their physical locations (no where near an airport). I have found that purchasing direct from an airline is often cheaper even with their supposed discount (after my most recent issue, I purchased direct from Lufthansa and got my ticket 100 Euro cheaper than ABC and even got a direct flight).

Negative Erfahrung: Früher wart ihr top, aber ihr habt stark nachgelassen. Ihr seid nicht in der Lage, euren Telefonhotline wieder aufzunehmen, E-Mails werden auch nur nach Lust und Laune Angeboten und ihr biete Flugkonditionen an, die es nicht gibt, sucht aber Ausreden um euch zu rechtfertigen.

Negative Erfahrung: Von Top zu Flop! Ich warte seit nunmehr 6 Monaten auf ein Angebot zur Flugumbuchung eines gezahlten Fluges von meinem Lebensgefährten. Damit nicht genug: Mich hat ABC auf einen anderen als den von mir angegebenen, ebenso bereits vor Corona gezahlten, Flug gebucht, jetzt soll ich erneut Umbuchungsgebühren zahlen, obwohl es deren Fehler war. Auf E-Mails wird nicht reagiert, telefonisch ebenfalls dauerhaft nicht erreichbar. Der Gesamtwert unserer vor Corona gebuchten und natürlich vollständig gezahlten Flüge beträgt über 3000 €, da dürfte man doch ein etwas professionelleres Vorgehen erwarten.

Fantastisches Erlebnis: Entgegen manch anderer aktueller Meinung kann ich ABC , insbesondere fûr US-Flüge absolut empfehlen. Zwar ist es schade dass momentan kein telefonischer Support möglich ist, anderseits ist es aus bekannten Gründen absolut nachvollziehbar. Zugegebenermaßen war ich Anfangs wegen des fehlenden Telefonkontakt und der längeren Wartezeiten bei Mails skeptisch, wurde aber positiv überrascht als es zum Schluss doch alles wie gewohnt sehr schnell und ohne Probleme geklappt hat. Des Weiteren muss man erwähnen dass mir kein Reisebüro bekannt ist welche zu den Top Konditionen rankommt.

They weren’t answer my calls so I have to drive over there and while I was getting helped The other ladies phone started to ring and she just lowered the volume and then proceeded to ignore it

Negative Erfahrung: I am EXTREMELY sorry I ever did business with ABC Travel in Ramstein-Miesenbach. I wish I could've rated this company a 1/2-star for the lack of effort they made booking me and all of the time I spent trying to get my money refunded from the cancelled flights. After my Thanksgiving flights were canceled by Lufthansa because of the strike, ABC Travel is keeping €55 of my refund for their "fees." While this is down from the €210 they originally wanted to keep for the "ticket issue fees" and "working fees" that was in the fine print of the three page German language terms and conditions, it's still unacceptable. If I'm not mistaken, Lufthansa pays travel agencies to sell their tickets for them so ABC Travel is getting paid by LH and me. I didn't cancel my flights -- Lufthansa did - so why am I paying any fees? Service from the travel agent was minimal - she couldn't even suggest tours or sights in Budapest, telling me instead to check with the hotel concierge. She also didn't provide any hotel recommendations. Because of time constraints, I went to ABC Travel on the recommendation of a colleague instead of searching for flights myself that met our needs and schedule. Never again. I should have known better as a 2 million-miler on American. While my situation may be unique, I offer this advice to anyone considering doing business with ABC Travel in Ramstein-Miesenbach - BUYER BEWARE!
